Having giant sources of aquatics, especially shrimp, in Persian Gulf and the Qeshm Island location in there with one thousand and 500 square-kilometers extension and due to various advantages in fishing, establishing shrimp reproduction and breeding farms using its appropriate potentialities and conditions over the island in soil-pools in the framework of the 11th government’s policies which are based on supporting the industries, is one of the major aims of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization. Right now, “Qeshm Behjat Shrimp” Co. for reproduction of the shrimp larva, located in the city of Sooza, has been already established with the plan of a hundred million shrimp larvas reproduction by private party and the protections of this organization. The project for reproducing 2 million shrimp larvas in 6 already-water filled pools of the “Qeshm Shakeel Pearl” in Doostekoo village has been already started.
